In 2015, Comparative Politics received 222 manuscripts, of which 77 percent were sent to external peer readers for review and 22 percent were rejected in-house. The average time of the review process, from submission to decision, was 64 days.

The Editorial Committee accepted for publication 10 percent of submissions and invited resubmissions of revised manuscripts for a second round of external peer review of another 11 percent of submissions.
